With the MLB trade deadline two weeks away, the Los Angeles Dodgers, we can suspect, are gearing up for a flurry of moves that will upgrade their already stacked roster. And if the latest trade rumor surrounding the Dodgers comes to fruition, the haters around Major League Baseball are going to be absolutely livid.

ESPN Los Angeles recently discussed a deal that has been "whispered" involving two All-Star players that would make the Dodgers nearly unbeatable.

The trade in question would send Cleveland Guardians star left fielder Steven Kwan and closer Emmanuel Clase to the Dodgers.

Dodgers Rumors: Could Guardians trade Steven Kwan, Emmanuel Clase to LA?

"What if I told you there was a deal that had been whispered about with Emmanuel Clase and Steven Kwan from the Cleveland Guardians?" said Travis Rodgers on ESPN Radio this week. "Kwan immediately slots into left field. Problem solved. The Michael Conforto problem is solved, and you slot Emmanuel Clase into the ninth inning."

The alleged return package going back to the Guardians in this trade includes 25-year-old pitcher Justin Wrobleski, 26-year-old reliever Ben Casparius, Dodgers No. 1 prospect Josue De Paula (No. 26 in MLB), and one more mystery prospect.

Is that enough for a two-time All-Star outfielder with 2.5 years of control (Kwan) and one of the best closers in baseball with 3.5 years of control (Clase)? Probably not. Rodgers claims to "know things" about whether or not this deal would be satisfactory to Cleveland.

Los Angeles already has a "super team" in the eyes of many opposing fans. They have been baseball's biggest spenders for the last 3-4 years by a wide margin, and even if they don't get the player they want it feels like they're always lurking.

But this kind of trade package is what separates the Dodgers from the other big-spending organizations in baseball. The Dodgers have the young talent to add All-Star players like Kwan and Clase, and they'll simply replenish the farm system like they always do.

Josue De Paula would be a big loss, but the Dodgers still have outfield prospects Zyhir Hope, Eduardo Quintero, and Mike Sirota in MLB.com's Top 100. They also have 24-year-old Andy Pages in the big leagues pacing for a 5+ fWAR season.

Kwan and Clase would solve every problem the Dodgers currently have. If Andrew Friedman pulls this deal off, we're not sure we see anyone getting in the way of Los Angeles winning back-to-back World Series titles.
